We think of ‘tech’ as something new, but in the Skylands, tech has been around for over 10,000 years. An ancient civilization perfected the use of tech long ago.
At the heart of all tech is the Golden Gear. However, it only works if oiled by a green primordial goo.
Tech Skylanders can use any form of tech as a weapon, from dynamite (i.e. Boomer) to guns and rockets.
Tech is very effective against the element Magic, but is very weak against Earth.
Boomer is a crazy green troll who is affiliated with the element of tech. He is first seen in Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure, and he also makes an appearance in Skylanders: Giants. Boomer loves to blow stuff up! In fact, causing explosions is his answer to any problem that comes up.
His talents with explosives allowed him to be an expert in the troll army. The army wanted him to destroy and take over other lands, but that’s not what Boomer wanted to do. He ran away from the army to go have fun. The King of the Trolls was very upset to hear about this event, especially because he wanted Boomer to blow up a dam and flood a city. Somehow, Boomer heard about those plans and decided to stop them from happening. To do so, he threw dynamite at tons and tons of sheep, one of his favorite explosive targets, and sent the sheep toward the city. The wool from all of the sheep absorbed all of the water from the broken dam! It was truly a heroic act. Master Eon heard about the story and asked Boomer to join the Skylanders. Now Boomer only uses his bombs to defeat the forces of evil!
